CABUCA Carr/Daniels Essay Contest
For High-School Seniors Entering an HBCU in 2023-2024 School Year
For over 30 years CABUCA has spotlighted the academics, achievements and legacy of historically Black colleges and universities to students in the Greater Cincinnati area. In an effort to increase attendance of students at HBCUs, CABUCA is announcing the “2022 CABUCA Carr/Daniels Essay Contest”. Each winner of this contest will receive a $500 book scholarship for use at any accredited HBCU for the 2023-2024 school year
History
CABUCA was established in the early 1980s with a mission to promote student attendance at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). This 501c3 non-profit organization has a long established history in the greater Cincinnati area working to inform, educate, advocate and connect the local community to the unique advantages of HBCUs. Today, CABUCA represents over 20 colleges and universities through the active membership of alumni chapters.
